Who handles your information
CA Performance Engineering is responsible for the customer enquiry and profile information used through this website. For privacy questions, contact campbell@caperformanceengineering.com or call 07356 104563.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive your name, email, phone number, selected service, customer type, vehicle details and message. You may also provide your workshop name or vehicle registration. Please only include information relevant to the job.
If you sign in, your profile and submitted enquiries are linked to your account so you can view them again. Your profile can store a name, phone number and company. ChatGPT handles account authentication; we do not collect your password. Guest enquiries are saved for review without being linked to an account.
Why we use it
We use your information to assess the requested work, answer your enquiry, provide quotes, arrange agreed services and keep relevant customer records. This is generally necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or to deliver an agreed service. We also have a legitimate interest in securing the website, preventing spam and maintaining business records. Where a legal obligation requires a record, we retain it for that purpose.
The enquiry form’s acknowledgement allows us to respond about that job. It does not subscribe you to marketing.
Security and service providers
The website, database and hosting run through ChatGPT Sites and its hosting services. Authentication is handled by ChatGPT. Enquiries are stored for CA Performance Engineering to review; a notification may also be sent through our configured email notification service, Resend. Hosting and authentication providers may process technical connection and security information. Depending on the provider, processing may take place outside the UK under the provider’s applicable transfer arrangements.
To limit repeated spam submissions, the enquiry service uses a hashed rate-limit key derived from a signed-in account, connecting IP address or email address. Customer account history is restricted to that account, and the business inbox is restricted to authorised access.
How long information is kept
We retain enquiry and customer records while they are needed to respond, carry out agreed work, handle follow-up questions or meet legal and record-keeping requirements. The period depends on the enquiry and any resulting work. You can ask us about a particular record or request deletion; we may need to retain information where there is a legal reason.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your personal information, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it. Contact us using the details above; we may need to verify your identity before releasing information.

Cookies and fonts
We currently use essential storage, with no analytics or advertising tags installed by CA Performance Engineering. Google Fonts supplies the website typography. Our cookie policy describes browser storage and third-party connections. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer at any time.
